I have a baby...
Sing, play, read, and explore together! The Baby & Toddler Zone is a cozy space for our youngest library friends and their grown-ups. Spark curiosity and build early learning skills. Whether you’re visiting for story time, finding your child’s next favourite book, or connecting with other families, the library is here to help little ones learn, laugh, and grow.

Play at the Library
Join Read & Rhyme and other special events, explore our sensory wall panels, play on the interactive FX Game zone mat, or play with our toys. Meet other parents while your little ones play and discover new ways to learn through fun.
Read 1,000 books with your child before they start kindergarten. Track progress using our brochure, log sheet or free app. For every 100 books read, collect a book to keep for your child’s personal library.
Toy Lending
Borrow toys and take-home kits from our collection, a project started by the Early Childhood Development coalition and now housed at the library. Browse the collection , or ask about it at the library.
Resources for Parents
Support your child’s early growth through play, stories, and songs and connect with local family services, early learning programs, and community supports.
