Friends of the Library
The Stettler Friends of the Library Society is a group of dedicated volunteers who fundraise and advocate on behalf of the Stettler Public Library. Our fundraisers include a bi-annual book sale, casinos, historic ghost walks of Stettler, and the Christmas Wine Survivor raffle and Wine Survivor Elimination Party. Volunteer opportunities exist and are very flexible. We are able to work with you either as a short or long term involvement. Membership has its perks! Ghost Walk
During the summer months Crystal will take you on a spooky walk around Stettler. The walk is filled with gruesome historical facts about Stettler and the surrounding area.
All proceeds go towards making programming free in the library.
Book Sales
The Stettler Public Library holds two book sales a year, one during tradeshow weekend in April and a weeklong one in October. The sales are made possible through the volunteer work of the Friends!
