Library Services
Memberships
Membership is free to all residents of the Town of Stettler and Stettler County No. 6, thanks to the generous support of both Town and County Council.

Sign up in person, via telephone at 403-742-2292 or use our online form.

Photocopying, Printing, or Faxing
The library can satisfy your need for black and white copying/printing/faxing for $0.35 per page. Colour copying is also available for $0.50 per page.
Scanning to email or to a USB key is free.

Exam Invigilation
We have an exam room that can be booked to write your exams or to complete online training.

Call 403-742-2292 to book the room and arrange for an exam supervisor.
There is a $20 charge for exam invigilation, the use of the room for other purposes is free.

Outreach
For those unable to visit the Library, we will arrange for library materials to be delivered to you.
The Library offers a regular outreach program to area residents. Patrons must be in good standing with the Library.

Read a book (repeats too) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. Books are recorded in a reading log and prizes will be given each time a reading log is completed.​

Tutoring
Tutoring is available on Tuesdays from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. , Wednesday 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.. in the library.
You must reserve your spot by calling the library at 403-742-2292. The one-on-one sessions will be 30 minutes each to allow for several students to seek individual assistance.

Computers
The Stettler Public Library offers free access to computers with high-speed internet. The computers are available on a drop in basis.​

We also offer free WiFi in the library, so bring your own device.

Cognitive Care Kits
We have a number of Cognitive Care Kits that you can borrow if you have a loved one in the early to middle stages of dementia.
All kits contain a simple music player and come with a memory stick full of hits from the 40s and 50s.
​
Each kit contains a number of different games, puzzles and books that encourage social connection.

Weekly Family Swim Pass
You can request the
Family Fitness weekly pass through the library catalog.
Place a hold request and we will call you when it is ready to go.

Tech Help & Converting Old Media
Have questions about technology? We can help.
We can also help you convert your memories on VHS tapes, DVDs, 35 mm slides, photos, vinyl records, cassettes and CDs into digital files. If you have another device that can connect with RCA cables, we can likely convert that too.
